Samuel Adams Boston Bockfest
In celebration of hearty German lagers, we’re throwing our own Boston Bockfest! We’ll be bringing back recipes from the vault as well as brewing up new beers to help us get through the final stretch of winter.
As an exclusive kickoff, two days prior to the event, we’re hosting a 4-course beer dinner in the Bier Keller and pairing delicious bites from No Joke Smoke with each of our specialty bock releases.
Four-Course Menu
Arugula with butternut square, dried cranberries, blue cheese, pecans, and a maple vinaigrette
Brisket chili with beans, fire-roasted tomatoes, and No Joke Smoke's Saweet Heat BBQ sauce
Turkey Meatloaf stuffed with gouda cheese and topped with No Joke Smoke's Coffee Madness BBQ sauce, served with mashed potatoes
Marshmellow chocolate chip cookie bars
Saturday, February 15th, we’ll lean all the way in to celebrate our first ever Boston Bockfest! Showing our love of these German lagers, drinkers can enjoy with:
The release of
Bock and a Half
A slightly more sessionable version of our Double Bock, this traditional lager is a deep mahogany color with rich caramel sweetness and a smooth body.
The Vixen
Dark and enticing, The Vixen is brewed with dark cocoa with cinnamon, ancho, and chipotle peppers for a richness cut by a restrained smoky heat.
Maibock, Not Yours
This Helles Bock has notes of graham crackers and toast from the malt, balances by bitterness and fruity hops from Vista hops, which our brewed had a hand in vetting.
Weizenbock
This amber, wheat-based bock is a strong winter brew, with notes of dark fruit, clove, and hearty banana bread.

Signed Triple Bock Raffle
First brewed in 1994, Triple Bock was our first journey into extreme beers. This aged bock was brewed to create a beer with notes of vintage port or sherry and enjoyed as an aperitif. Signed by our founder Jim Koch, bottles of Triple Bock will be raffled off during the event.
