Since 2008, our core philanthropic focus has been supporting food and beverage entrepreneurs through the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program. Samuel Adams founder and brewmaster Jim Koch's journey began 40 years ago, as he overcame barriers to achieve the success we celebrate today. Brewing the American Dream aims to provide access to capital, networking, and resources to small businesses, addressing challenges Jim faced during Sam Adams' inception. To date, we've contributed over $105 million in micro-loans to food and beverage businesses, mentored and coached over 15,000 entrepreneurs in 42 states, and supported the creation or retention of over 11,000 local jobs.

In collaboration with Brewing the American Dream, we are excited to partner with Juan Arroyave of Kikos Coffee , the leading LGBTQ and minority-owned coffee and tea company in the USA. Founded on inclusivity, Kikos brings high-quality Colombian coffee to Boston and the United States. Despite facing challenges during the pandemic, Kikos persevered with passion, embracing their identity and making waves in the industry.
