Rebel Rouser Returns!

A cult classic has returned just in time for our namesake's birthday!  

Rewind a decade to the release of Rebel IPA: In 2013 we released our first West Coast style IPA brewed with all American hops from the Pacific Northwest. Why Rebel? With this IPA, we honored the rebellious American spirit that led to so many things we love today—starting with Samuel Adams, who led a rebellion for this country, to Jim Koch, who led a rebellion for craft beer. Rebel IPA was swiftly followed by a family of hopped-up, beloved beers. 

In honor of our namesake’s 301st birthday, we’ve brought back one of these Sam-fan favorites! 

Rebel Rouser Double IPA is bold, unapologetically hoppy, and packs a punch but it's one of flavor over pure bitterness. The aroma and flavor come from the combination of large hop doses in the kettle and dry hopping to pack in notes of pine and citrus. Brewed with Bravo, Galaxy, Zeus, Simcoe, Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo hops, Rebel Rouser has a big resinous aroma and grapefruit bitterness that are grounded by a malty backbone. At 8.4% ABV, it goes down warm and finishes dry. This award-winning IPA is for all our traditional hop-heads out there!
