Stop on by the Sam Adams Boston Brewery on August 3 to indulge in our National IPA Day Flight, a curated selection of some of our current IPA favorites. Whether you prefer the tropical notes of Jamaicaway, the smoothness of Wicked Easy, the berry-infused delight of Blackberry Scoop, or the haziness of Wicked Hazy, our flight will take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey through the world of IPAs.  

Both Jamaicaway IPA and Blackberry Scoop are brewery-exclusive styles that explore the possibilities within one style of beer. Jamaicaway is our neighborhood-inspired IPA with big tropical fruit notes and a surprising sessionability for such a big beer. Part of our Vacation Sam series, Blackberry Scoop is a fruited milkshake IPA with blackberry and lactose for a sweeter and more fruit-forward take on the classic bitter beer. Paired with our session IPA, Wicked Easy, and classic New England-style, Wicked Hazy, this flight shows the full range of a single style. Cheers to the hoppiest day of the year!

At the Downtown Taproom, we're excited to share with you a unique IPA that one of our managers has been eager to bring to life. In honor of National IPA Day, we proudly present our latest release on draft: Dirty Swamp Water IPA. This 6.2% ABV Hazy IPA is an intriguing blend of west coast hops, that offers a unique twist on a traditional hazy IPA. Unlike the juicy or dank IPAs that you’re used to, Dirty Swamp Water IPA takes a lighter and grassier approach. This refreshing brew features Cascade and Chinook hops, which impart a delicious aroma and a balanced bitterness that lingers on the palate.  With hints of fresh grass and lime, it’s an ode to both National IPA day and the humid summer days it lands on. For those who love the citrusy aroma from the brew, limited edition air fresheners are also available at our retail shop! 

The Taproom will also be featuring a special National IPA Day Flight starting Thursday featuring core favorites like Wicked Hazy and Wicked Fenway coupled with newer innovation releases of Dirty Swamp Water IPA and RyeFlake IPA until the tanks run out!
